UNCOMMONLY USED FILIPINO WORDS IN THE PHILIPPINES

Every Filipino citizen has their own way on how they speak Filipino words. But some Filipino words are being forgotten and some people on our own country didn’t know what’s the real meaning of those words. We still have much to learn with our own language.
Here are some of the other Filipino words you can learn.
1. Filipino Word: Pangaso
Definition: A brush for cleaning the teeth
Example Sentence: Pagkatapos kong kumain, ginagamit ko ang aking pangaso upang linisan ang aking ngipin.
2. Filipino Word: Sipnayan
Definition: the science of numbers and their operations, interrelations, combinations, generalizations, and abstractions and of space configurations and their structure, measurement, transformations, and generalizations.
Example Sentence: Isa sa mga paborito kong asignatura ang Sipnayan.
3. Filipino Word: Salipawpaw
Definition: A powered heavier-than-air aircraft with fixed wings from which it derives most of its lift.
Example Sentence: Gusto kong makasakay sa salipawpaw at makapunta ng ibang bansa.
We must always remember that we are to cherish and nurture what we own. Let us not forget that the language that will unite Filipinos towards development of the future is the Filipino Language. Let us love what we have and what we own. Mabuhay ang Wikang Filipino!
